Fundraising

OGPS Fundraising – We need you!

Fundraising is an important way for OGPS to raise money so that it can provide a diverse range of quality programs for students, and to improve upon the school’s amenity. The nature of fundraising events also plays a key role in developing positive community connections with the school.

Are you a champion fundraiser? We need your help!

The OGPS Fundraising sub committee (chaired by a member of the School Council, currently parent member Aimee Chambers) is looking for proposals for fundraising that are reflective of the school’s philosophies and standing in the community.

If you are interested in helping to undertake fundraising activities for OGPS, grab a few like minded people from our wonderful school community and pitch your idea – big or small – for fundraising initiatives to the school council!

What is the OGPS Fundraising sub committee?

Subcommittees are advisory bodies to the School Council and assist Council with work that needs to be done. The purpose of the OGPS Fundraising Subcommittee is to assist the various fundraising bodies within the school, for example the Apple Fair Committee, Parents and Friends Association, to plan fundraising activities that are in line with the OGPS Fundraising Policy and the DET Sponsorship Policy.

Want to get involved?

We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas. As an OGPS community member, this is an opportunity for you to be involved in maintaining and improving the quality programs and school’s amenities for current and future OGPS students.

Please email [email protected] if you are interested in joining the Fundraising Subcommittee or would like further information.
