There is a strong emphasis on the teaching of Literacy and Numeracy at Ocean Grove. These key elements of learning are well supported through a balanced program that includes the arts, physical education and humanities taught by inquiry-based learning.
Our Living Vision: All Ocean Grove Primary School children have the right to a safe, respectful and supportive environment which promotes and encourages a student voice and love for learning.

Curriculum
At the start of each school year we run a program called GROWING TO BE OUR BEST. This is not a purchased program, rather a custom designed program that meets the needs of our students at our school.

OCEAN GROVE PRIMARY SCHOOL
About Us: We place a strong emphasis on the teaching of reading, writing, speaking and listening and mathematics.
We also provide specialised teaching areas in physical education, music, visual arts, Indonesian and information communication technology. Our school promotes the active involvement of parents in many facets of school life, both in and out of the classroom.
We have a newly completed state of the art learning facility with learning spaces (e.g. kid’s kitchen) designed to engage students, promote higher order thinking skills and develop independence and resilience.
